Thank you for reading the Connection To The Hill where we continue to provide news and information about upcoming church activities and events for our church family and the community. This edition will provide program highlights of our upcoming morning worship service for February 19th at 10 am. Combined Sunday School will be held at 8:45 am and our baptismal service will held at 9:30 am

A New Sermon Series
Welcome Baptist Grove Church family and guest worshippers to our morning service. This is the fourth week of our sermonic series entitled, "Because God Cares." The focus of this series is God's providential concern and care for His sons and daughters. In support of this series, our church family has performed random expressions of God's love (acts of kindness) and placed their card of kindness on the BGC tree in the vestibule. We hope each of you will view the BGC tree today and take a moment to reflect on how God's love is transforming our church and community. In the words of the Psalmist, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands." (Psalms 90:17).

This Season of Lent
We will observe Lent this year through personal and corporate prayer. Starting Wednesday, February 22, our smaller Sanctuary building will be open from 12 noon to 1pm, Monday through Friday, for individuals that desire to pray in the Sanctuary. On Wednesday at 6pm we will have corporate prayer before Bible Study. Let us come together to pray, recognizing that God declares, "My house shall be called a house of prayer..." (Mark 11:17)!

"Because God Cares!" Tree
You are encouraged today and throughout the month of February to support our sermon series by performing four (4) “Random Expressions of God’s Love” and placing your completed card (that shows your act of kindness) on the "Because God Cares" tree in the front vestibule. Remember to stop by the vestibule today to view the "Because God Cares!" tree and take a moment to reflect on how God's unconditional love is transforming our church and community.

The Health & Wellness Ministry
The ministry would like for you to assist them with the planning of the annual Clara Medlin Health Fair. The ministry will have forms available in the front lobby as you depart worship service.

Celebration of The Occasion
This month is set aside to reflect upon, appreciate, and receive inspiration from the treasures within Black History. Celebrate Black History Month at Baptist Grove Church.

Our Condolences To ...
The Spruill Family (Tracey) in the transition of her uncle, Bro. James McEachern. Homegoing services were held on Tuesday, February 14th in Atlanta, Georgia.

The church office is closed on Monday, February 20th in observance of President's Day.
